About Indiana NOW!

Indiana NOW is the state chapter of National Organization for Women. The National Organization for Women (NOW) is a feminist organization founded in 1966 and is the largest organization of feminist activists in the United States. Our mission is to advocate for women’s rights & full equality through six key aspects: reproductive rights and justice, economic equality, ending violence against women, racial justice, LGTBQIA rights, and constitutional equality.

Women’s March in Indianapolis, 2016. Indiana NOW President, Heather-Wildrick Holman, spoke at both the 2016 and 2017 event.

The personal is political.

In NOW, women and men learn the discrimination and injustices they have endured are not exclusively theirs alone. They are often part of widespread patterns of discrimination. With our eyes opened, NOW members are ready with action.

Our issues are local, national, and international. NOW members speak out when injustice is recognized and raise public awareness to challenge assumptions.

Working together, we are changing the world. There’s more to be done. Add your voice!
